RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows the service plan to assist the consumer in maintaining a healthful and safe environment.
- Has knowledge of Agency policies and procedure
- Able to demonstrate competency in all areas of training for consumer services
- Assist person at home in managing and maintaining a household, dressing, meal preparation and incidental household tasks
Assist consumers with the following
- Housekeeping
- Eating and meal preparation
- Arranging for transportation to an from appointments
- Administering emergency first aid
- Providing or arranging for social interaction
- Provide transportation
- Companionship
- Assist with daily basic work

keep you up-to date with medication

clean your house, bed, bathroom and surrounding

Do your laundry, grocery, shopping

Track your diet
Report any change in the client's mental or physical condition or in the home situation to his/her immediate supervisor, the staff nurse or to the Home Care Aide supervisor
